Lisa Simpson is a scholarship coordinator with the Brockman Foundation. Ms. Simpson has worked as a journalist in Bermuda for the past four years, specializing in health coverage. She was awarded a Public Health Awareness Certificate by Bermuda Hospitals Board for educating the Bermuda public on the risks of diabetes and the importance of prevention.
Ms. Simpson moved to Bermuda after completing a Masters of Science degree with distinction in Environmental Archaeology and Palaeoeconomy at the University of Sheffield in England. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with First-class honours in Archaeology from the University of Southampton.
Ms. Simpson has a keen interest in the history of Bermuda and enjoys spending time exploring the island.
